Happy 24th Birthday, Rihanna!! The music superstar may have had her big Beverly Hills birthday bash last week, but RiRi is in London for her big day. And while she may be in her mid-twenties now, Rihanna's birthday style looked more like that of a British punk teenager (granted the diva version of one). We kind of love that Rihanna's style always surprises us. And on her birthday, it only makes sense that she'd wear an edgy street stylele to greet her fans!
RiRi's birthday outfit consisted of thigh-high tights, platform Doc Marten-type shoes, a printed tee, a flannel around her waist and a letterman's jacket (it's unclear whether pants were involved). Love the tied black scarf, bombshell blond hair and bright red lip -- but the rest of the outfit isn't our favorite of her street styles. But hey, it's her birthday and she can dress like an emo punk if she wants to.
Rihanna is in London for the 2012 Brit Awards and spent her birthday eve rehearsing and recording music -- even when the clock struck midnight! She tweeted, "Brit rehearsal went smoove! Next stop, set up studio in a hotel room. Brits rehearsal was #FAWESOME I'll be turning 24 making mu$ic!!! (sic)"
Overwhelmed by all the birthday love, Rihanna later tweeted to her fans, "Ahhhhhhh ALL MY BDAY wishes from my DM to my TL!!!! KRAY! I truly love u guys, thank you so much #RihannaNavy for makin me feel special"
